Employees who believe that management is concerned about them as a whole person – not just an employee – are more productive, more satisfied, more fulfilled. Satisfied employees mean satisfied customers, which leads to profitability.
Celebrating festivals at the workplace is a great relief from monotony. It allows employees to feel more connected to each other and to the organization as well.
We, Reve Pharma’s Management is more focused towards our employee’s satisfaction. We feel that employees are the real asset of the company and they need to be seen with extreme care. It has been estimated that the average person spends one-third of their life at work. In that time, they miss lot of things like celebrating festivals, socializing etc. Reve Pharma provide them various opportunities, so they will not miss these things. That’s why our employees are more loyal and committed to our organization.
Every month, we organize different employee engagement activities in Reve Pharma. For September month of 2023, we had organized ‘Dhol Pathak’ in Ganeshotsav. Tilak’s innovation was to shift the celebration of Ganeshotsav from private homes to public spaces, believing that this would bring people together and foster a sense of unity.
The aim behind ‘Ganeshotsav’ and ‘Dhol Vadan’ as employee engagement activity was to bring people together, to increase fitness level, to celebrate our culture.
Also, we had organized ‘Mahaprasad’ on this occasion. Our ‘Dhol Vadan’ and Mahaprasad was like cherry on the cake for Ganeshutsav.
On this occasion, HR department has done the decorations. We made a plan for ‘Aarti’ so that each department can equally participate. Everyone were getting fresh start of day by doing ‘Aarti’ in morning.
Also, we had organized a ‘Rangoli Competition’.
‘Dhol Vadan’ was successfully done. Firstly, we made a list of interested people for it. Then, we discussed with HOD’s to shortlist participants. We removed those people from list, who’s participation can hamper work. Then we arranged training for participated employees.
For training, we appointed ‘Shiv Shambhu Avtaar’. Which is best Dhol Pathak in Sinnar.
In starting days, participants were suffering from lot of issues. It was very hard to hold that heavy dhol for a long time but they were dedicated for it. After having many injuries, participants did not give up. After getting 7 days of training, the day has come. All women participants were wearing ‘Nauwar’ (Marathi traditional outfit) and gents were wearing (Kurta). Everyone was shoked when our Directors – Mr. Milind Katariya with Mrs. Anjali Katariya and Mrs. Dhanlaxmi Patwardhan held the Dhols and joined the ‘Dhol Pathak.’ After some time, rain started falling, but no one has stopped. Dhol Vadan was successfully completed in one hour. That day has become memorable for us.
On ‘Anant Chaturdashi’, We said “good bye” to Ganpati Bappa.
