On 20th Aug 2023 and 21st Aug 2023, REVE PHARMA has organized ‘TREE PLANTATION’
The reason behind TREE PLANTATION was –
- Trees give us fresh air to breathe by taking in carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen.
- They provide a home and food for many animals, insects, and birds.
- Trees help to keep the climate cool and prevent global warming.
- They help to prevent soil erosion by holding the soil together with their roots.
- Trees give us fruits, nuts, and seeds to eat, which are healthy and tasty.
- We use wood from trees to make things like furniture, paper, and pencils.
- Trees provide shade on hot, sunny days, making it more comfortable to play outside.
- They help to clean the air by absorbing harmful pollutants and dust.
- Planting trees can create beautiful landscapes and make our surroundings more attractive.
- Trees can help us feel more relaxed and connected to nature, improving our mood and well-being.
On this event, we have planted 64 trees where 32 members were participated from different departments of REVE PHARMA.
The trees that we planted are as follows: Lichi, Morpankhi, Aarika palm, Kaashid, Kanchan, Bahava, Jambhul, Mohgani, Rain tree, Bakul, Gulmohar, Kathor, Shisam, Saptaparni, Behada, Hirda, Gaganvel, Cristmas tree, Khaya, Chinch, Palas, Aapta, Avala, Saag, Kaju, Vad, Kadulimb, Aamba, Apple bor, etc.
Mr. Ghanshyam Daware (Account and Finance officer) have played important role in this activity. He went to nursery and bought plants. We have faced some challenges in this activity. There was a question that how can we plant trees on plain surface of land. Then Mr. Rahul Pawar (Maintenance officer) helped us and made land able to plant trees through JCB. Housekeeping ladies have taken initiative to give water to it on daily basis. HR department has completed TREE PLANTATION successfully without hampering work of participated employee.
We wish we will seat in the shadow and eat fruits of these trees when it will grow!
