This story is about a dream. The one, that we sketched, gave birth to, and are living today.
This is about us, Milind and Anjali Katariya – the founders of REVE PHARMA.
It all began in Nashik. In 1999, we graduated from MGV’s College of Pharmacy, this was the
place where we met. Our friendship grew, and the dream of starting something together as
partners was planned in the same clamor of the college. In the youthful days of fun and
glamour, we discovered each other. Building up an industry of our own was the plan that we
both thought about. We completed our master’s in business administration. Soon, not simply
as business partners, we also tied the knot in a bondage of marriage.
In 2002, we were ready to start. Our parents blessed us and supported us thoroughly. Not
simply by their conscious being but also by helping us with the initial immediate need for
finances. We decided to work in the industry of Ayurvedic medicine. With the aim of
bestowing society with quality products, we chose Ayurveda over any other stream.
Ayurveda is an Indian form of medicine. A practice that is sustainable in its nature. An
element that does not hold any effect of ramification. We took it as our moral responsibility
to promote Ayurveda, into today’s modern medicine that traditionally has been followed by
us Indians. In 2007, we owned a factory in Sinner where including us two we were a total of
seven people working. From there till today, the journey has been a roller coaster ride. REVE
is a French word that means ‘a dream’ which became the name of our company. The urge to
fulfill our dream has been a driving force all along. We proudly state that, at present, we have
employed three hundred and fifty people in REVE. We also developed a system of backward
integration over the years. This led to two more separate units, concerning the support of
production and the cosmetic industry respectively.
All these years, it has been the positive energy towards betterment that made us work
together. We as the developers, complement each other in our working patterns which made
the challenges in a way a lot easier to deal with. We at REVE, nurture and respect each other.
The passion to offer society our best interests, to cater to the amazing talents around us, and
to make ‘growth’, our ultimate goal for each one in REVE, is what we serve.
Indeed, the dream that we saw originally, is in its very state of accomplishment. However, we
today choose to keep growing. Our passion for creating is still alive within us, which makes
us thrive for a pleasing future.
